On 26th April the main MMS website was uploaded with version 7.01 updates.

A major change in this update , common to all programs, are the way in which pen settings are handled. There is now only one dialog box where all pen colours are assigned. The 2 methods to get to this is - Settings - Colors and the Pen icon Palette along the right hand side of the screen.

For our users in the UK we now have an option to set the coordinate system to OSGB36 and from this view data on Google Earth, which is in WGS84. See Settings - Configurationoption.

In Pipe Maker - An import Ascii function is added. At present it imports horizontal alignment and services data. Other ntypes of data will be catered for upon request. Clash checking for the pipes on the same network is implemented.

In Road Maker checks on a road network is improved to ensure intersections tie up.

In Survey Maker 2 new modules were added - module 4 : Mine survey functions for methods specific to mining operations. - module 5 ; The ORION method of WGS84/Cape Clark coordinate conversions.
