In the latest version of Model Maker (version 7.01) you can now export MAL files that is readable in version 6.2x of Model Maker. MAL files is a great exchange format because it contains all your data, in other words you may choose to save just a CAD drawing, an irrigation project, a single DTM project or multiple projects, or anything you have active the current session. So to save a 6.2x MAL file, do the following:

On the MAIN menu click on File > EXPORT ALL

Then click on MAL FILE SETUP (1) make sure the Export Save tab is selected (2) tick the tick box for 6.2 format (3) and click OK and proceed as normal.

That is it, now your clients with older versions of Model Maker can also read files you saved in version 7.01.

Remember, you can also save a DXF (Model Maker) (for CAD drawings) and a TOT file (For DTM models) which will be readable as far back as version 4.0.
